SAP FICO Business Analyst

  • Business trips: Willingness and ability to travel as required (10-20%).

  • Assignment type: contract of employment.

  • Configuration of various functions within FI/CO, such as: New GL, Document Splitting, Intercompany Processing, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Revenue Recognition, and Tax.
  • Assess and document business requirements for new functionalities, which may include custom enhancements and custom reports.
  • Collaborate with various technical teams to evaluate design alternatives, optimize design solution and minimize performance impact.
  • Design and deploy new processes and configuration to meet business needs.
  • Prepare and execute functional unit test cases, work with cross functional teams to perform test activities (e.g. integration, performance, user acceptance).
  • Support the deployment of production applications and provide post-production support related to custom system enhancements and integration points.
  • Proactively provide status on all activities to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Follow applicable standards, procedures, guidelines, and methodologies in the support and/or maintenance of systems.

  • 2+ full life-cycle SAP implementations.
  • 5+ years of hands-on SAP configuration experience in FICO modules.
  • Experience supporting the integration between ECC and 3rd party auxiliary applications (e.g. bank systems, credit card process systems).
  • Experience with complex implementations incl. custom solutions around POC (Percentage of Completion) and sales revenue postings.
  • Thorough understanding of the integration with other SAP modules MM, PS.
  • Broad knowledge in data exchange, such as ALE, iDoc, BAPI, etc.
  • Good knowledge of SAP structures, configuration standards, object dependencies and tables.
  • Ability to engage with customers and partners to understand their business needs and priorities, lead requirement gathering and analysis session, design documentation and modeling.
